What I didn’t say was that “all devops release pipelines that use traditional scripted approaches are error free”.

The point in the readme about using this with Claude Desktop to avoid API charges is a top tip for any coding-through-MCP setup with Claude. I’m not a Clojure user but I’ve set up the Jetbrains MCP server and Claude Desktop has been working

This is a fine example of a process you really want to be deterministic being automated using something that is definitely not.

Right, but LLMs are also consuming AWS product documentation and Terraform language docs, some things I have read a lot of and they’re often badly wrong on things from both of those domains, which are really easy for me to spot. This isn’t

Sounds like a lot of work has gone into to the infrastructure of getting this to work on the GPU. Did you find it more interesting doing this or the physics simulation ? Have you considered simulating strings or moving air too ?

Here's something I've wanted for a while from Anthropic: flat-rate access to a well-integrated coding assistant, i.e. access to Claude for coding tasks without having to Insert Coin To Continue.

Can’t you still use Sonnet 3.5 anyway ? or is that a paying subscriber feature only ?

Amen to this. As soon as you ask an LLM to explain something in detail that you’re a domain expert in, that’s when you notice the flaws.

Personally, I assumed that a blog post on the domain localforge.dev was written by the developers of localforge, but I might be wrong.

I know. At least use brass-plated plastic or whatever for the case. I can’t believe there’s nothing more they could have done to make this more aesthetically pleasing within the £9m budget, for which we appear to have got a robust PC case

Definitely not a brag, but I scored 20/20 on my first attempt. Is this because my phone has a particularly good screen that renders colours very accurately? I’m not in any way involved with art or graphic design or have any experience

The article mentions 600kW power to a single rack might be a thing soon. Surely not air-cooled ? This seems wild to me. I used to warm myself next to 4kW racks of telco gear when I was still doing overnight work (20 ish years ago) and tho

Just go with plain Terraform. You can check the docs for the GCP provider to see if the resources you want to manage are "importable" into the Terraform state file; they usually are and you'll see a section at the bottom of e

I think a majority of the rants about Terraform I read are written from the perspective of someone managing inherently ephemeral infrastructure - things that are easily disposed of and reprovisioned quickly . The author of such a critique

The previous model I was referring to was a flat-rate TF Cloud team plan at (in the UK) <$30/month. There were runtime limits IIRC but there was nothing stopping Hashicorp offering a “per user” fixed rate plan at several hundred dol
