That's not what populism is. Populism is when an elite claims to speak and act on behalf of the people without real input from them.

The only purpose of my example was to show that in general the implication that ease of use reduces to convenience is false. I used an obvious counterexample . In summary, to imply that I think your assertion that it's about con

You know, unless the difficulty of doing without it makes it infeasible . Mobility impaired people lobbied for curb cutouts waybackwhen because it would make it easier to use sidewalks. I think that situation obviously shouldn't be

Because then they wouldn't be SWATting people then, they would, idk, order 10 pizzas to the place. Does this really need to be asked?

The author's point is that you wouldn't expect to see quantum gravity at any scale we could feasibly probe for the next few centuries. If one can't come up with a theoretical justification for such an anomaly then perhaps tha

I'm pretty sure Plato had been complaining about this stuff. I suppose we didn't use to have those problens before civilization became a thing.

It's already the case that you can ascribe any quality to any group by fiat and so therefore any criteria for being intolerant can be abused in the way that you say. There is nothing you can do to preclude dishonesty and sophistry.

Determining the etiology of a problem sounds exactly like taking responsibility. I think you wrote your post with a mean-spirited attitude.

Those are ingredients you listed. I'm talking about prepared meals. Most vegan restaurants that aren't Indian around here use such ingredients to imitate non vegan dishes.

Think of the difference between Indian vegetarian food vs. tofurkey, imitation bacon, etc. There are vegetarian cultures that have refined their cuisine over thousands of years to be nutritionally adequate and delicious. Western vegan food

When I cook, I cook around my choice of meat. If I'm making something vegetarian I have a completely different mindset. Compare the use of vegetables in American cuisine versus vegetarian Indian cuisine.

That's really cool. Although I wish there were more vegan food that didn't try to replicate non-vegan textures and flavors. Imitation can only be playing catch-up. The best vegan and vegetarian food does its own thing.

That is literally not the case. Not legally, not morally, not in any reasonable sense except in a certain vein of political rhetoric which has no basis in reality. The government has no fiduciary duty to you or any other citizen or any tax

It's a pain in the ass to write functional code in python because the syntax is not optimized for it. A functional programming language makes lambda and (partial) application as cheap as possible, which Python does not.
