I'm not happy about tracking (I personally use Firefox + uBlock) but with the state of the web as is, I'll settle for the browser not stealing confidential info, thanks.

Chrome's entire reason for existing is that Google wants control over the client, so they can control the capabilities of the web. If they are snooping on the data of webpages or what you type, they will lose that. Also the fact that

I second the bugginess - I gave it a spin (despite my paranoia...) and a lot of my favourite ff extensions don't work well, if at all. Chrome extensions fare better. I'm really tempted by the idea of a way more battery efficient b

That's funny, but Google has extremely powerful incentives to not snoop on me while I check my bank balance.

Idk if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but a browser is one of those things where I simply am not comfortable trying out options that aren't big or well known. At this point, the browser is essentially a window into my entire life

Idk what you mean about threads. They were a long time coming and as a member of several communities most mods were well aware of them before they came up.

If you want both face and fingerprint unlocks, the Android ecosystem has many options for you, even though I don't think any of them has face unlocks that are as "secure" as the iPhone's. If you want to stick to iOS, the

I think LTT has mostly figured out a sustainable model: 1. Make low(er) budget videos regularly that may not earn you a ton but keep the algorithm happy and the money flowing. 2. Every now and then, make a few high-budget videos that "

Or, maybe, hear me out here: deliberately posting a link to an issue to a widely-visited community with an inflammatory title, with the explicit intent of dogpiling the maintainer led to them locking the thread? You know, something like w

Actually, I think Elixir's pattern matching is slightly worse than OCaml simply because there's no in-built syntax for multiple matches pointing to the same clause. Ex: (* In OCaml *) type t = A | B | C | D match A w

A lot of people seem to have missed the point I was trying to make. I'm not saying that it's unusual for Google to engage in anti-competitive dumping or kill their products; I'm wondering why so many of these actions were tim

The 14 and 16” MBPs aren’t due for a refresh. The ones up right now are the air, the base model 13” pro and the mini. You can buy the 16” now and expect it to be top of the line for at least one more year.
