The No Man Sky's "shoot the asteroid" demo is highly disturbing. They really should not ask any AI agent to shoot at anything. Especially when it's not very good at it.

At some point though, IRC conversations seem to almost always turn into talking about IRC itself. Whether it’s bots or hostile takeovers, people stealing nicknames, moderation problems, who’s got the best client, and shit of that nature. I

There is a ton of literature about cicadas and prime numbers. Experts definitely lean towards the primes emerging from natural selection indeed.

Sorry, you're right, I didn't convey what I felt properly. It feels that the journalist is trying way too hard not to make it sound like it was suspicious. So he scatters the facts around the article as if people wouldn't con

What’s weird is that they automatically assume it’s not! I’d assume it’s not part of a trade agreement or something. The brits just think “oh well, it’s probably the government colluding with big food companies to screw us over”. The worst

I wonder if there is some cultural preference for this. Looking at the map example, I find the cubic smoothing way “calmer”. The exponential one feels a bit hectic and I am wondering if it’s an American thing. It’s got a “wheez” quality tha

Also these puzzles can be _really_ hard. As a French person who's lived 10+ years in English-speaking countries, I am often completely baffled. I am not sure humans would do a lot better with 0-shot.
