I accepted a 50% hourly rate cut for: 1. Moving to freelance, hourly pay 2. Moving to the South of France, 100% remote job 3. Completely flexible hours (aiming to do 22hr/week) 4. Completely flexible vacation time. That seemed like a great deal for me. But 25% pay cut for 20% time cut, this is a SHITTY move.
