In the meantime, I got an email from Andrew that accepted to proceed with the submission without the Google Analytics and accounting connection. I don't know if this is related to this thread or if the decision is made on a per-case ba

I don't know what are their roadmap here. Maybe they are facing a massive growth and can't follow on their features. I sure hope this isn't intentional and that they are only falling behind but who knows.

I love to play devil's advocate. Often, you have your head deep in something and you forget to consider the other party, playing devil's advocate helps that. And you are right, there will be no guarantee that the buyer will respec

Yeah, that makes sense. My first assumption was that there would be explanations along how to integrate the notions, like what is a variable, etc. These are the parts I didn't wanted to have in English. But I've started to work wi

I saw about Roblox, yeah! As a matter of fact the kids already played with it (but as a gamer, not a developer). It might be interesting to dive into this indeed! I'll take a closer look, thanks!

UE5 would be awesome but it's too complicated for someone that never did any coding at all. But if all goes well, that might be something we'll learn!

Nice, thank you for this. I'm having one issue here is that ELM is not a language I know, so I'll have to learn it along with him in case he get stuck :D

I'm half agreeing with you. Clearly, he wants to spend some time with me, that's for sure, but he's also passionate about video games (who isn't?) and he truly want to learn. On my end, I see this as a win-win; I get tim

Thank you for suggesting it. I don't know if that's something he's looking into, or if he wants to do more things related to code (I'm currently trying to have a clear understanding of what he's expecting).

I agree, but I think it will be difficult to quickly have something that will bring value (and interest) to him if I dive too deep in the technical part too soon. (But I'd be almost ready to start some kind of course based on his need

Yeah, that's what I think too : It seems hard (impossible) to register user's credit card at each payment provider (Stripe, Adyen, etc) and then start a subscription at some place (Stripe) and automatically switch in case of issues

Some mentions that Stripe is having more and more bad press like these, but I do wonder if that's true. Granted, horror stories just like OP's are not great, for Stripe and for those who use Stripe, but we tend to keep in mind the

The discussion here is very interesting. Many mentions the idea to not put all your eggs in the same (Stripe) basket. I agree with it, but how? You can not just store the credit card of your user (or have to go through a heavy compliance),
