Hey, I have a Niro. I paid less than $20k for a year old model. The Niro is a hybrid, not an electric (unless the new models are). I’m loving mine and I average 48 MPG unless I’m on a long freeway road trip, where it drops to around 30. Fin

I hope this is true. I write a lot. Small little things. A lot of "how I did x". And my articles get traffic, although I don't pay attention to how much anymore. But, I don't have a business that people can come spend mo

I have a raspberry pi zero that I’d kinda like to setup as a Wi-Fi hotspot like this. You could only use it if you were in range. Kind of a Wi-Fi geo cache.

I also have an outdoor solar light that I’m not using and a raspberry pi zero. I dunno how solar controllers work or what a small one might require. I also wonder if I could run this off of 4 or 8 AA rechargeable batteries and then just fee

My own experience is different. I had several brands of CD media that lasted less than 10 years. Many of them you could see the damage (cracks through the shiny layer). Some were dark blue, some a light blue. Almost all of them were bad. I

This format (or something similar) may work for my project. I’ve designed a set of low color images for a retro TRS-80 computer I own and would like to write a slot machine app for. With its low processing power and my self-imposed requirem

I love the idea, but I couldn’t find any results that didn’t look mostly random. I thought I’d look for posts about shooting or editing video. Couldn’t find anything close, no matter how I ordered my query.

Sailing is a long-time dream that I probably won't be able to realize in my lifetime. But, if I did ever go sailing, I would need something like parts of MDN downloaded. Doing computer work is what I love and I'm sure it's

My wife and I just rode Lime scooters in San Francisco and I was shocked by the cost. We rode about 4 miles in 45 minutes. When we got off, we were charged $60 (about $30 each). We could have taken Uber or Lyft for less. They have 1-hour an

This is very detailed and well documented and is similar to how I work in my web based app, Nolific. Specifically, I keep notes in plain-text and write drafts in markdown. I don’t keep my todo in the system, but it would be relatively easy

These systems often fail some of our rights tests. For example, it’s hard to “face your accuser” when it’s a camera. I believe speed cams failed for similar reasons in Utah. I do see red light cams in Chicago. I wonder if that’s because the

Interesting note, many states already use standard time, such as AZ. But, it is against Federal law, for some reason, to use daylight time. Utah, California, and a few others have already voted to switch to permanent daylight time as soon a

It's interesting and I like it. It does seem to be rather opinionated without saying so. The PHP example requires an http library I hadn't heard of (rmccue/requests). Copy/paste of that code doesn't work unless you
