Yes I understand that. But I’m specifically talking about this in the context of machine learning, more specifically deep learning. This tech by design is supposed to learn on its own. So while the traditional cyber security is a game betwe

I have a feeling this cat and mouse chase game will never end, and trying to tackle using tech is a meaningless journey. Wouldn’t all these techniques just end up help training the deep fake algorithms to avoid detection so it becomes even

A lot of apps don’t need user data to be completely private. Take Twitter for example, all their stuff is public. But for DM they’re all private. For these cases you can encrypt the data inside the http requests so only the intended receive

You can end-to-end encrypt user data to implement privacy. Actually that’s the only right way to do things if you care about privacy.

There are so many things wrong with this website. Why the "fck" is a browser company playing politics? Also, the Web is not about "indie websites". This only shows Mozilla is failing because they can't cope with the

no the project I'm talking about looked similar to this one but a bit shorter vertically, and the one I owned had a dark pink (or ruby) color. Had the same blackberry type keyboard too. It was a startup, and they shut down eventually.

I remember there was a similar attempt years ago (probably between 5 to 10 years ago). I forgot the name of the startup but they were trying to build a non-phone mobile device that's programmable. I actually applied for beta testing an

That's a pretty misleading terminology. 99.99% of the people who read "losers game" will think it's a game for losers. it should be something like "winner driven game" and "loser driven game" instead.

Wow this is a total loss for Epic and total win for Apple. Now nobody will stand up to Apple for doing anything, even the things they should rightly stand up for. In a way this sucks because Epic made Apple's monopoly much stronger tha

This type of pseudo advertisement doesn't work on HN. You should just do something like "Show HN" and cut to the chase and ask people to give feedback on your app instead.
