You can end-to-end encrypt user data to implement privacy. Actually that’s the only right way to do things if you care about privacy.
- cacho2020 6y agobut how can the applications use that data in any meaningful way then? what;s the purpose of sending transactions to applications otherwise?
- judge2020 6y agoI suppose the poster you're reply to is floating the idea of something like TLS on top of this protocol...
- cocktailpeanuts 6y agoA lot of apps don’t need user data to be completely private. Take Twitter for example, all their stuff is public. But for DM they’re all private. For these cases you can encrypt the data inside the http requests so only the intended receiver can decrypt. Doesn’t need TLS.
