This is correct. Once you authenticate once on Apple Watch (either with PIN or by allowing your phone unlock it once you are wearing it) you can Apple Pay to your heart's content until you next take the watch off.

I can't believe I'm about to defend this, but unless you have an anti-static grinder spraying water does cause a lot less mess and ground coffee flying everywhere. I had to do it with my Wilfa Svart grinder (and still do when I us

While it does let you compare against US salaries, almost all EU countries use the Euro. Certainly all of the ones mentioned in this post do. If you're interested in just a raw number rather than a cost of living weighted number (which

Interesting article, but they don't link to the data, just suggest that you build the dataset yourself with Google. I'm also not seeing mention of cost of living. > For ease of comparison we’ve converted all numbers to USD ($).

Maybe! But the filters are currently under €0.02 per unit on Amazon in a pack of 700 and it makes incredible coffee when paired with pretty much any (non spinny-blade) grinder, and pretty decent coffee when paired with preground. And the in

I remember begging my parents for one of these things (Cybiko Xtreme) and absolutely loving it for quite a while - until I started to feel bad that I couldn't do any of the networked stuff since I was probably the only kid on the entir

You need to take into account that nobody can perfectly read a book first time. I've done a reasonable amount of short-fiction narration for audio magazines, and even with many hours worth of script reading under my belt I still fumble

First I've heard of Asmodee Group, but from a quick Google they own a remarkable number of games (that they call "IP"). A quick note that they at least don't own Wingspan, the first game in the article. It's by an i

I’ve imported a bunch of PDFs and various image formats and it doesn’t seem to be scanning them. I’ll check back later in case it’s a feature it does in the background.

The final thing that has me trapped with Evernote is the very good OCR for both images and PDFs. The second I figure out a replacement for that which works great on Mac and iOS I am gone.

There are certain apps on my phone that iOS spotlight search doesn’t find even if I type their names out in full. But if I search for them in the App Library, they are found. Odd.

It has more buttons than an Apple Watch and is a lot simpler with less functionality, which for many is a draw. I had two Pebbles and was very sad when it shut down - my Pebble devices are no longer functioning but I've been using an A

I’m part of a running group with a mix of Garmin and Apple Watches and the Apple Watches always have pretty different distant readings according to Strava, maybe 2%-5%. The Garmin devices are generally much closer together. I wonder if the
