I just want to know where they’re getting these things. Is there some dodgy bike shop which sells the bike and then sneakily delimits it under the counter?

I have experienced brake failure, maybe twice in the more than a decade I’ve been commuting. Pretty scary stuff when it happens, I feel for her. I’ve always gotten that broken brake repaired within 48 hours (I live in somewhere that is pret

I’m a total convert to ebikes and use a VanMoof (mentioned in this article as an example of vertical integration - its a great bike when it works, but it has a high failure rate. My parents use more traditional brands with a much lower fail

I think of it as Evernote Syndrome. Take a perfectly great app and then slowly add nonsense on it until it's slow and bloated.

I've been on 1Password for many many years - looks like I bought it first in 2008, and I've bought every major version since, and then moved to subscription within weeks of it launching. I couldn't be happier with the product

Sudden braking from a fast speed might be more likely to cause a skid (same as a car but scaled down), but if you're popping down to the shops or commuting to work, you likely will be cycling in a more relaxed style anyway. If you'

Even if you're overweight, cycling a bike is very rarely a problem. I'm an active cycle campaigner so I am definitely more exposed to many types of cycle commuters, but I know many people who are overweight for whom cycling is the

From years of experience of being around Lawyers, many of them seek the need to say things in the most unnecessary complex and impersonal ways. Lawyers are often terrible communicators.

I think more whistleblowers and legal ramifications for C-level execs (prison time preferably since they can happily pay any fine thrown at them) is the only real way to do it at this point.

I’ve been on DuckDuckGo for nearly a year now and while I’m mostly happy, it can be a frustrating experience as somebody living in Ireland. When making a location specific search, often even including the word “Ireland” or the city I live i

I recommend the app HealthFit which can sync Workouts data with pretty much everything else, including Strava. It also allows you automatically export FIT and GPX files to Dropbox if you’d like. It can’t yet automatically sync Runkeeper tho
