I think this was a terrible post, it was inaccurate on several points, and the ones it was not were largely things that are 'table stakes'. Complaining about being on the VC track coming out of an accelerator, or having a converti

I am an Excelerate Labs (now TS Chicago) grad whose company just did a 2.5M Series A. I consider the accelerator program to be an enormous component in my success. We still bug Troy and Steve on a weekly basis and they have never hesitated

What you are describing sounds more like the author's definition of homeschooling than unschooling. That said, he is teaching them the skills to run a farm, so at what point are you exposing children to something rather than instructin

I like the idea, but would love to see it taken a couple steps further. To me, the biggest issue with selling things online is dealing with the people who are interested in purchasing them. I have had less than stellar experiences with both

Assuming you probably want to make a decision before this service exists I wonder if you can't find an advocate. Someone who has been through the process of research, interviews and chose a surgeon themselves and completed the process.

I can't say when they started, but we've been using it for our marketplace for a little over 6 months and it has been capped the whole time.

Have you looked in to Balanced Payments? They enable ACH transactions at 1% + $.30 capped at $5.

Interesting ideas, I would like to add pressure sensitive stylus support to compete with the Wacom Cintiq Companion.

They have very pretty docs, but in the case of ACH their sample code and directions did not work. Luckily their dashboard uses their API and keeps logs, so I was able to reverse engineer the proper way to set up a customer and bank account.

It appears they use ACH for payments, but not debits (credit card only it appears). We run a marketplace with 5-6 figure transactions and use Balanced Payments. Their documentation is fairly terrible, but they cap ACH fees at $5, which is k

You are leaving out a couple of details. First, there is already unemployment, so there are already people not filling jobs. Second, this is a redistribution of tax money, so society is not getting poorer that way. As for people not filling
