I don't have much experience with this personally, but I think it might benefit you to seek out Dave Hoover and ask his advice. http://redsquirrel.com/dave/

Looks nice, and not only is the source code not minified/obfuscated, it's actually well commented.

I haven't found the Flippa community to be overly drawn to custom tech (i.e. not wordpress, etc.) unless there is already a large audience for the site. I think the HN crowd needs a Flippa equivalent for abandoned projects. I am happy to do

Nice to see YC and VCs backing a company like this! I am a cofounder of a company in the same space ( http://mercariscompany.com/ ) and it has been challenging to find investors whose 'sweet spot' we are in. Don't get me wrong, we have foun

It seems like there are two issues. The first, addressed by BBS's was small communities have self enforced norms. This went away when forums were open to the internet. How do we recapture small communities? The second is the idea of a long

The Erlang runtime imposes a different set of constraints than Python that would impact the design of the language being built on top of it. Given that, someone already has come as close as you can to porting Ruby to the Erlang VM, it is ca

You seem to have forgotten to quote the next paragraph which says, "In seriousness, it looks like a nice language -- I wonder if it, or the Ruby, Python, JavaScript "front-end" toolsets, might be a better fit for extending Erlang applicatio

Agreed. Not only are CME/CBOT Java shops, but we have hundreds of fortune 500 companies with all sorts of internal tools, infrastructure and messaging projects that are anything but light and fluffy. There are trading firms, telco, retail,

I live in a city, so I can and do walk. In fact I don't own a car. I also suspect suburbanites have fewer destinations that are <= a mile.

If you have recently sold stock at a $2 valuation, you should be very wary about issuing options at $0.25. This will put you across the ISO/NSO line and has tax implications for the employee. If you haven't actually sold stock recently, you

I don't know how the appointment of judges works beyond the local level where I vote. What would it take to get Posner appointed to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals? It seems his worldview is much needed there.
