It looks like Rancher Desktop uses Lima VM ( https://github.com/lima-vm/lima ) under the hood, I suppose in the same way that Docker Desktop uses Hypervisor.framework on macos? This is the first I've heard about the

Lacks? No way. Sneakers' score features Branford Marsalis, which is very different feel to Hackers (which is also great), but imo very evocative of the the playfulness, mystery, & intrigue of the crypto storyline.

I feel this a lot too, but I find that I can quell the anxiety by looking at the huge list of $things_i_dont_know not as a chronicle of how far behind the curve I am, but instead as a buffet of new techniques/technologies that I can sa

Is there any objective context here? What has RMS said, what are the attacks? I assume there are also fair, clear-headed criticisms of what he has said and how he said it.

I figure more margin is better than less, and it decreased from 2019 to 2020. Is that not a valid way to look at gross profit margin?

Revenue is up 50%, but profit margin is down a bit, 76.6% in 2020 versus 77.9% in 2019. Plus, the upper range of their expected 2021 revenue is ~$593 million, which would be about 40% revenue growth if I did that math right ($431 * 1.38 = $

How would Netlify feel about not being able to issue or renew any certs for any sites for a month? Plenty of platforms rely on LE exclusively for one-click/automatic HTTPS for their customers sites.

Are you saying that Slack uses mod_php? According to a Slack Engineering blog post[0] from 9 months ago, Slack has been using Hack/HHVM since 2016 in place of PHP. My understanding is that HHVM can only be run over FastCGI, unless ther
