For something enterprise scale, check out Tea Leaf. IBM ran the product for a while, I think now Acoustic has it. Many large F500 use this or other similar products: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tealeaf

What sold me on Tik Tok (I'm a early 40 year old guy!) was realizing how their algo allowed you to drill in to a musical emotional trip like no other platform that I've seen to date. You find a video, with a song, that you vibe wi

I know a few folks relatively high up in Amazon HR/TA/People Ops type roles and the scale at which they operate recruiting is nuts. Mainly driven by the insane need for people in the ops/fulfillment/delivery areas, but

Having worked in BigCo land for 20 years, your estimates are way off. There are F500s that have 1k mainframes each, today, in 2022.

Thx for the tips! I've loved your writing here over the years on math and physics topics. I did my undergrad in physics, but then went in to corp america. Curious if you are, or did you work with, Norman Waite? I read some of his pape

This x 1000! Do kids these days not realize you can negotiate anything and everything with your vendors/suppliers/partners? Yes, most SaaS companies LOVE it when you sign up for one of their standard plans, using THEIR standard T&

Yeah, this is a classic 'nice to have' solution - it's a pain point in the process and so you hear feedback and requests for solutions. But the real question to determine if it's a viable product/business is does it

Generally in BigCo land you need a value prop that will allow your buyer to do 1 or 2 things (or a combo) - take out massive cost, or drive large incremental revenue. Most of the voice solutions I've seen kind of nibble around the edge

I highly doubt HR at Twitter is unaware of the laws here and not giving 60 days notice as part of the exit packages. This is basic stuff easily remedied by corrected exit package details if it did in fact happen.

You think AWS and Google do not employ the same sort of growth tactics as MS and others? Where do you think all the AWS and Goog sales folks hail from? Hint - the same places as MS sales folks and every other company! In enterprise land, AW

Another angle to diffuse their power here is the idea of radical transparency. Once everything is public, and you have nothing to hide, it is very difficult to be blackmailed or coerced in the traditional ways govts have thought about this

Interesting it took them this long to purse the opportunity here. Something like 10-20 drugs make up like 80% of the maintenance meds dispensed in the US daily. Supply chain efficiencies like this were monetized 20+ years ago by most of the

Marketing, sales, branding, etc are the ones who largely are doing the work to scale these companies. Ad dollars are one mechanism to grow reach across audiences, and those teams are the ones helping to make it actually happen. And yes, ma
