Do you use the Sonos app itself? Most of my friends with Sonos just use Spotify/Apple music and skip the Sonos app altogether. It sounds like the app update was pretty horrible though - no ability to even _queue music_. But easily side

I do this with WiiM. For me, the biggest thing is that I have speakers that are >20 years old that still work perfectly. Why replace what already works well? I looked at the Sonos ecosystem for this, but their non-speaker devices are abs

I'm a big fan of WiiM for a more affordable alternative (for some). I'm not an audiophile, but have a handful of passive speakers around the house and I hook up a wiim amp or a wiim 'streamer' (forget the name) to my exi

I agree with both of you, but I still don't want to use Python to generate my diagrams. Diagrams are a visual thing. I prefer a visual designer. I can send that to some random nontechnical person for a presentation and they can edit th

Yeah. It's a bummer because I actually own the games and just want to play them at 4k60 rather than on the weak HW of the Switch. But I understand why Nintendo would target emulators of a _current gen console_. To say that this is sole

IMO the best litmus test of crypto is _it being in use_. Proof of stake was hard for me to understand, but it is sitting 'in production' and has beeen working for some time. In that same sense, if folks can use Bitcoin/Monero

Gives me memories of heating the tamper-evident sticker with a hairdryer to open up my xbox 360 so that I could flash DVD drive firmware so that I could load... backups as a child who couldn't afford games. That xbox took forever to sa

Counterpoint: I do like min-maxing credit card points, and I love products like this because I know I want to go on a vacation but don't really care where. So I use something like this and see where I can fly international first class.

Ebikes are fantastic, but this would be like having a motor on a rowing competition. Nobody is hating on ebikes here, just using them to cheat to gain an advantage at the olympics... in a sport ripe with doping since day 1.

Bikes are at a point where they can be lighter than the UCI mandated minimum weight. Aero has been the name of the game for a while as well, so it's possible that a riders bike already is heavier than expected for aero benefit
