My Model3 is 6 years now, and has lost about 10% range. The car doesn't suddenly become useless either. I expect to keep the same car + battery for at least 20 years without replacing it.

I think the higher maintenance costs would be on the Camry due to more moving parts, but not sure. Maybe some data would be good.

It may, and I guess not every job has the same requirements. And 2 parents could technically split the care time evenly and squeeze out 8 hour days by using 16 hours of the day and maybe working all night while the child sleeps. Good luck s

If you find out that parents have no form of daycare, and are taking care of their child while doing their remote job they should be fired, end of story. As a parent, taking care of a child is itself a full time job. Your friend is either a

Zed's vim plugin is not all there. I just ran into an example case. This text - 'asdf-asdf'. If you put the cursor on the hyphen and in Normal mode press dw - in Zed this deletes all the way to the ' and in neovim it onl

Interesting, so seems like asset stores are way bigger than I thought. I guess, when I think of Pixel art games, I'm thinking about indie games like Stardew Valley, Celeste, and Undertale, maybe I am just revealing my own gaming biases

What are the good Linux mobile devices nowadays? I still believe in mobile linux, but not necessarily Pine..

It may have been an early version. I tried to look it up but seems the Pine forums are down..

I have one thought on FTL travel. Creation of a “naked singularity” by spinning a black hole fast enough to counter the forces holding it together. However the singularity will remain incompatible with our universe, and will then spread at

Sadly I had a similar experience. Actually had the Pro too, which was even more of a pain, IIRC because of having to press a reset button to boot with a pin, it was really bad. The OG Pinephone eventually would freeze every time I ran apk u

Makes sense, the retro / pixelated style is always going to cost less, but maybe have less wide appeal.

Thanks, this makes a lot of sense, and I learned about how games are really created. It's sad because I see devs like Notch or Zeekerss who somehow go solo and make millions, but clearly these are the exceptions and these medium-sized

Sounds really unfortunate. I also know little about this process, what do the publishers do that we cannot do ourselves? I guess they have pre existing deals with the major console makers that allows them to send things to market with littl

I thought only my Model Y had sharp edges. The 3 seems fine.

Yea, the out of box smoothness of the VP leaves a lot to be desired, I've been getting them from Nibs.com which smooths it nicely for me.

Ah, yea I had a similar experience with Extra Fine. Now I buy them through Nibs.com which does some custom grinding, also they take into account my Leftyness, which makes for an extremely smooth and wet write.

That's awesome and really impressive. The pen is a real workhorse. I will say the Vanishing Point LS or something, the more expensive variant, is not as reliable, as my twist mechanism on that gradually got stuck.

Tesla can still use those CCS chargers tho, so you would only lose chargers by not getting one?

Have to agree with the Vanishing Point being the best luxury fountain pen for writing... I have like 8 of them.

hmm... It was fairly un scientific.. I will try VSync and report back. I would prefer to use X tbh, because of these bugs. It's certainly not seconds behind, but yea, maybe more like 50-100ms instead of 17.

That's really weird... I play Rocket League on 144 frames and X is far more janky.. while Wayland keeps a very smooth 144 99% of the time, and input delay feels non existent but on X it feels like 2-3 frames behind.

I can't deny that, but the fact is, X still works fine.. and a lot of people use NVIDIA cards and don't want to throw them away. I guess they are the real culprit though, to be sure. But if were a random new user who booted into

Wayland sucks. At least for Nvidia users. RN dealing with - 1- when it comes back from suspend, the whole screen is filled with Rainbows. Pretty, but useless. 2- display scaling setting is either ignored or completely broken, no in between

If we have the same access, we are both developers? You can ask things, just.. asynchronously. If it takes a long time for me to respond, you probably could have found the information yourself in that time.
