It seems like you don’t understand reinforcement learning. The signal is reinforced because it correlates to behavior, hacking the signal itself is misalignment.

Nobody knows the answer. Answers I see are typically "be a product manager" or "start your own business" which obviously 95% of developers can't/don't want to do.

I can automatically generate suites of plausible tests using Claude Code. If you can make as a rule "no AI for tests", then you can simply make the rule "no AI" or just learn to cope with it.

>LLMs are like a eager sycophantic intern how completely changes their personality from conversation to conversation Again, this isn't really true with some recent models. Some have the opposite problem.

This is partly true, partly false, partly false in the opposite direction, with various new models. You really need to keep updating and have tons of interactions regularly in order to speak intelligently on this topic.

Non-developers shouldn't be trying to maintain code. Developing products as if they can is very disingenuous.

1. I determined the post was AI myself. The detector was merely to satisfy someone disingenuously asking for "proof". 2. This one works. It's peer-reviewed.

This seems contrary to their stated goal to prioritize AI safety. It is against the law to prioritize AI safety if you run a public company. You must prioritize profits for your shareholders.

He means capturing things that benchmarks don't. You can use Claude and GPT-5 back-to-back in a field that score nearly identically on. You will notice several differences. This is the "vibe".

I don’t think the models are smart at all. I can have a speculative debate with any model about any topic and they commit egregious errors with an extremely high density. They are, however, very good at things we’re very bad at.

Focusing on meta doing this is fine, but misses the mark. Every tech company is harming the public for profits.
