Keep in mind we're not really the audience for their copy. There's always some subliminal reason companies advertise the way they do. But I do agree it's kind of corny...

It speaks more about ESPN as a product. It's a terribly inefficient way to get info about your favorite sports teams. Most of the time its just 2 talking heads arguing and going on irrelevant tangents. Its especially bad with their ra

I also drove a manual while commuting about 70 miles a day on the freeway. I figured out that you can make manual driving as comfortable and carefree as automatic, but that type of driving typically wears on the clutch. For instance, you mi

Most powerful, wealthy interests support both sides. The only thing truely frightening for the status quo is probably someone like Bernie Sanders being in the white house. Dow Jones would not be popping up if that was the case.

I really think the movie Idiocracy nailed the scary potential future of democracy. If elections continue and build on this trend of featuring reality tv show style candidates and media that lives off hyperbole, eventually we'll just st

How do facebook and Google make money? Selling ads in social network and search land. Having an enormous, religiously active user base has proven time and time again to be a huge cash cow.

This. This whole study is actually based on the work of SF Supervisor Scott Wiener who is currently running for State Senate representing the Bay Area. If you want transit improvements in the Bay Area...vote for Scott Wiener.

I think it makes a lot more sense for the Geary line to terminate in GG Park or somewhere in the inner Richmond. The density in the area around Ocean Beach does not justify a 3 mile extension from inner Richmond to the beach. A 1 mile subwa

Yes it would totally make sense for facebook to effectively kill react (wasting millions of their paid engineering hours) and forever taint their developer community by using that clause to sue another company just because they compete. <
