Can confirm. I just received 100 I ordered from Alibaba at $1.60 each. My kids are selling them to friends and people in the neighborhood for $5-7 each. They're going quick. Hadn't thought about wholesaling to gas stations. Maybe

You'd be surprised how many "AI-powered" startups are actually powered by BPOs located in Columbia/Philippines/India/etc.

Ok, so what are those reasons exactly? I actually don't believe your analogy holds. My mom uses Dropbox but she would never use rsync. But my mom can drive to Target or open her Amazon app and buy Ensure just as easily as she can order

Good essay but I don't like it when people use market cap in these kinds of comparisons. Don't forget that Amazon has 2x the market cap of Wal-Mart–but only slightly above 1/4 of their the annual revenue.

If you don't mind me asking, what's your reservation with revealing it? Is it more of a privacy/principle? Or do you actually lose an edge in salary negotiations by revealing it?

It makes sense though. I'm sure Wall Street is as bad or worse. The thing is, everyone already hates wall st. . SV and startups have become part of pop culture. It's "cool" to have a startup. People are eschewing Wall S

Ummm, perhaps you aren't familiar with all the trouble Gates and MS got in back in 90s. Zuck's record isn't spotless either. Fortunately he got good "adult supervision" early (which this article hit on).
