UK is unbelievably fucked. Real wages have collapsed since the last recession, now they're collapsing even further, and the Bank of England want everybody to just accept this and not ask for payrises. The middle class in the UK is evap

That's a mitigation, not a solution unfortunately. There have been PoCs that work without high precision timing.

This is pretty good for bypassing captive portals on public Wi-Fi access points. Sometimes you can use it to get Internet for free without paying. These days most are more clever and will block everything other than the default gateway unti

I suspect overconsumption of media has fried your attention span to the point where you simply can't concentrate on somebody talking. Do you need Marvel scenes playing in the background to read a Wikipedia article as well?

Nice writeup, this is pretty horrifying. Given Minecraft's horrible network performance and boring combat mechanics, I'm surprised anybody would go out of their way to cheat.

I have no qualms with "acting your wage." This goes below the minimum bar in my opinion. Real engineers don't get away with fuckups with real consequences because of their salary.

How are developers still screwing this up? Is it negligence or stupidity? They shouldn't be allowed to work in industry writing bad code like this. Security vulns happen, but come on, this is the basics.

I've been brushing up on my Kubernetes knowledge recently and came across so much gross stuff like this. "If field X is set to Y, then value Z for key V is invalid." Jesus christ. I wish they put more effort into approachabil

If you have the time and know-how, you can build your own system off of Ubuntu Base[0]. It's as barebones you can get with Ubuntu - doesn't have snap or any other crap the "minimal" ISO does. You'd need to chroot in

Cool stuff. The possibilities of Minecraft if some optimisation work was done would be amazing. It's demotivating just how rotten the internals of Minecraft are. Bedrock edition has really nice performance but nobody wants to play it.
