What do you mean "doesn't run"? Tests should catch the most obvious/common bugs. If you mean it doesn't compile, then something is wrong because why would any engineer check in code that doesn't compile unless

No. 1. PRs should target development, which is an *unstable* branch, so no biggie if something breaks 2. CI should catch things like syntax errors, failing tests, or poor test coverage 3. I trust my colleagues to do their work prope

Indeed, Putin is mentally off the rails and a dangerous person to be playing games with. I don't think he would hesitate to launch a westbound ICBM or flip the monopoly board and turn Ukraine into a wasteland if he can't have it.

ProtonMail is arguably the biggest privacy brand, especially when it comes to well... email. They do a bit of marketing as well which people who aren't so technical are going to be picked up by. It's the same situation as with VPN

If you use ProtonMail or any other "private" email provider that will be why. I've had so many accounts blocked, locked, banned, and so on just because I use ProtonMail without a custom domain. I use the premium domain now (p

Maybe if Ukraine sends a bribe their way it'll happen. That's usually how things go with ICANN. But cutting Russia off from the Internet isn't a good idea.

Well, you'd have to be outside of most big cities. Even on a tech salary, living near an office in central London isn't affordable. Not unless you're flat sharing which is basically mutually exclusive with having a family.

I don't disagree but GrapheneOS for instance only supports handsets for as long as Google does. I think some of the other distributions also follow this rule. I'd say this is why we need e-waste legislation.
