In order to avoid catastrophic climate change (hard to say we even can at this point) - we need anything we can get. Nuclear is part of anything we can get.

The thing is - when you get rid of gas stoves you can get rid of almost all other gas appliances. That’s literally the only thing keeping gas in most homes in the USA and continued in new construction. When you add in gas water heaters, hea

Except this has never happened within the Bay Area. Even in the 2008 pop, it never was that bad and you got your money back by 2011.

This seems really out of touch. ICs absolutely despise interviewing. Half of my current team has expressed that they want to quit but isn't going to because they are so afraid of interviewing again. Many are coming up on 1-yr ten

Legitimately wonder why people find this so so hard to understand. Has no one ever been a manager? Have you never worked with managers who had to do these things? I've known many managers who admit to having to do all of these thin

This is a great way to put it. Lying is 100% part of the game with employment. It continues even when you're still at the workplace. Are really people so asinine to believe that hiring managers aren't lying through their teeth the

~70% of eng is Asian within SV. About half are Indian. Other half is Chinese. It’s a very prevalent problem. A lot of people come from India and keep their cultural values - including caste discrimination. It’s a small issue in the genera

In a capitalistic system - yes. She’s won and there’s fuckall you can do about it. If you wanna play by a different set of rules - gotta change the entire landscape. No one is going to do that.
