One thing that has changed about dance etiquette these years is that saying no to a dance is much more common. Not only more common - but now immediately saying yes to someone else is also quite common. Someone you don’t enjoy dancing with

While these still exist - the point of the OP was that they’re in great decline compared to what they were. They’re also much older crowds than what they used to be. It’s almost exclusively 30s+ at social dances these days - with much of th

The bike paths in Finland would like to have a word with you. It’s more about the culture than anything. The rest of your points are not really the biggest factors.

Only thing you really need to do is go outside because of the sustained bright light exposure. Everything else is kinda moot. It’s why it’s important for kids to spend a significant amount of time outside. Your eyes degrade due to low light

Confused on your last point. Joining a good pre IPO company is generally a good idea. The difficult part is to find the good company, IMO. Look at how many were considered good but still haven’t gone public.

I don’t think image consulting is about teaching vs experience. It’s consulting… It’s like hiring someone to help with tax optimization. Maybe you could learn the latest ways to do tax optimization - or you pay someone to do it so you don’t

Man - you’ve gotta get a job to fill your time better. Unhealthy to spend your time on the Internet trying to create cherry-picked quotes without context to randoms. Creating super weird strawman. Hope you get help. When you’re in times lik

Glad you get it. Really could not give any less shits about the mental advice. It is a waste of time for everyone involved to be concerned about that here. I only need help with the image.

Both and neither. Therapy is irrelevant. I’m trying to make an image that sells to other individuals. Just cause you’re in therapy won’t suddenly make you a CTO at FAANG or whatever.

More holistic than that actually. But it’s not entirely off. I’d say think of all the work that goes into the PR for exec/celebrities. There’s an image that is crafted and displayed. You get coached on how to talk to the media… etc. I’

Only in that it accelerated the need for this overhaul. While I was with them - it didn't feel as necessary to climb the ladder (more than one ladder here) to survive. Now, it's very much sink or swim really fucking fast.

I think you're talking to a brickwall at this point because I don't think you're that familiar with what a lot of image consultants actually do. As I said - it's a niche thing. I've rarely seen anyone but celebritie
