I think you're very wrong. I think if most of us could even find a good job then we would stick with it. The problem is that a good job is extremely hard to find and a good job is a moving target. What is a good job five years ago for

This is only something that would work for the Dutch. That's the whole point of "going Dutch". The fact that women have to pay anything at all would make this a non-starter in the US market.

One of the things not touched here is “what’s the alternative?” Yeah, we talk about touching grass and meeting people in real life. Have you noticed how hard it is to meet people in real life and form any kind of connection? Men are lonelie

Yes, they exist but often for men they are a complete waste of time. Unless you’re an exec, wealthy, and generally handsome - most matchmakers will not take you up. It is simply because they know you will not be able to match with any women

The gym thing with a trainer is super weird dude. I’ve never heard of any trainer being like, “yeah, let me show you around to some chicks here.” If you go to a CrossFit gym then there’s a community vibe but at a typical gym - there isn’t o

Traveling really only makes sense if one of you wants to move or want to have a long distance relationship. Both of these are rare attributes for meeting people while traveling. Most of the women I meet while traveling are also not single.

I’ve already done all this stuff around physical appearance. It hasn’t helped. I’m facially ugly, short, and mixed race. These are all factors that single women utterly despise in our dating market. I’ve talked to a lot of women btw. My tal

I wish I could take lower income jobs. Sadly, I cannot. The majority of single women in SV expect a minimum of $500k/yr income (if you intend to marry and have kids) regardless of what they earn. Similar woes now that I live in NYC. Th

I’ll be the counterpoint and say that all the shit jobs I did were way easier than any tech jobs I’ve had. Working retail was boring but it was a joke in terms of stress or care. Working doing help desk IT work was similar. Same for other o

Unfortunately we live in a stack ranked world and with incentives like not being deported - people will choose whatever pleases management over any idea of craftsmanship or quality.

I’m just saying, I’ve been in similar situations without the drugs involved. There are people out there who act like that and will be like that with each other without MDMA. Myself included.

How much of this is MDMA and how much of this is just having a welcoming scene where people emphasize physical touch and friendly interaction? How much of this is just living in a society that otherwise doesn’t allow for that in other ways?

People here are mentioning that “the left” (ambiguous as to what that is) does talk about men’s issues. They then cite an article or two. I’m not sure if one article every three to six months by some publication is really “talking” about it
