Yea, I definitely had fun as well, although my week dictated that I was in the ~600s for finishing level 8. I might try to put a little more time in up front for a higher finish this time. The last level involved compromising one of the ear

Personally I do something similar. I set up an alias in .zshrc from project names to commands. This allows me to do things like source environments as well. alias proj="cd /this/that/foo/projects/myprojec

Depends on the goals of the project, what other developers are on the project, etc. In other words, what am I trying to accomplish and how does what I'm using help me get there. For example, I might use Elixir if I was trying to onboar

You may want to check out pandoc[1]. It's what I'm using for conversions for a book I'm writing. [1] http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/

I suppose here is as good a place as any... but can anyone explain to me why there is an overarching trend of self-describing as an asshole just because you own Glass? It's becoming a connection, especially in the media, that Glass = A

I've experienced similar, no matter the class start time. I think I'd agree with your assessment of "you're in the wrong place" not necessarily because of the subject matter, but because of the presentation and envi

Today you've convinced me to start on the Matasano challenges. I completed the Stripe CTF from ~ a year ago and I've been looking for something else to try my hand at that would improve my security knowledge.

I'd be interested to know roughly what sort of employment/positions you've taken up over the years for the purpose of an extension of the timeline you've started here, if you're willing to share.

looks pretty good here: http://www.rootmetrics.com/check-coverage/ I've heard Tmo is good in cities from friends that use it, it's the non-city areas that you'd have to watch out for.

I use 101Domain, especially for non-.com domains (.io, .ly, etc). It has worked well for me, but I haven't had to contact customer service for anything more serious than letting a domain lapse accidentally, which I got back with no has

I got started in Clojure because I was looking for a Lisp that I could use and would grow to be "acceptable" for use as a consultant, since that is how I make money programming. I enjoy functional programming and being able to use
