I legitimately don't understand where all these "Ukraine is obviously winning" takes are coming from. If Ukraine was doing well, it wouldn't be giving out weapons to civilians [0], forming penal battalions [1], or lie ab

Time to strap up boys and girls! You too can defeat the evil Putin. It's not like there isn't precedence in our time for this either. [0] [0]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OWErhVyU0Y

I have personally found that the western european countries are not surprised and tend to talk like you're on the same base line. I suppose it comes off as "you know a lot about my country like everyone else from my country."

One almost thinks there will always be a base of americans living paycheck-to-paycheck. If you read Road to Wiggin Pier, Orwell talked about his vain attempts to get people to save money from week to week. Instead they wasted it on strong t

Out of curiosity: has anybody used this to do business accounting? I am intrigued by these ultra simple setups. However, most accountants -- the people who will ultimately help you once your business is sufficiently complex -- will use Quic

Music Forums (and 4chan) were amazing for discovery because you had people with extremely hard opinions arguing vociferously against others over which album was best or why such-and-such was awful. Music recommendations feels like somebody
