They're not treated the same. One's a prediction, one is a bet.

Wouldn't that mean that the people who disagree can make their own prediction on the platform? I don't see a problem with this.

This post changed my mind about sideloading on iPhones. Before I read it I was firmly in the camp of “lock it down, so grandma doesn’t get hacked.” But now I just think it stops people from making home cooked meal apps like this. I also th

Imagine for a moment you are on half of the earners in a median-income household. You make $37,290 a year (the median household income in the US is $74,580). You have two kids: 7 and 10. The school they go to announced that, due to constan

The primary function of state funded K-12 is childcare to enable two parents to work. Unless and until that is not the case, school will start earlier than parents need to be at work. If it started later, that time would be replaced with pr

Is that how they do it now? I am old enough to remember when they sent you a crisp 5'er and a little notebook. I was the one who checked the mail at my house (I had a penpal) so I used to be the one who did it. I always filled it up wi

Who is pushing whom towards legally restricting animal consumption? Not sure what country you’re in. Would you mind linking an article or two about it? Doesn’t matter what language it’s in. I’m interested in learning more.

Why? Current scientific evidence does not support the idea that soy is harmful to males. Instead, it suggests that moderate soy consumption can be a healthy part of a balanced diet.

I heard :(. It’s weird to say, but I think Chevy is moving too fast. The Volt should still be around, it’s a great “starter” car for the EV shy. Now they’re rushing headlong into trucks when I think there’s a real market for the compact cro

The Chevy Bolt EUV is to my mind the perfect little city car. It’s not really “little” by most standards but if I were buying an EV today this is the one I’d go with. I love my Teslas and will keep them for many years to come but I’m happy

For which market? China has many like that. Americans don’t tend to favor small vehicles. The EU is better suited for it.

It’s a shame that the “antisemitism” claims seem to be so embedded in the narrative that they go unchallenged. As for the plagiarism claims… eh. It was 1997 and I seriously doubt it was intentional. Plus, the people who seem to care are als

It’s interesting to me that voice commands never come up in these discussions. Teslas have good voice controls, though they suffer from the typical lack of discoverability that all voice systems do. Also, I think the original intention behi
