I used multiple static site generators and in 2021 I stumbled upon Zola [1] (written in Rust) and it worked really nicely. One neat little feature I like is that you could have the theme separated or as part of your site. For the theme I ma

I did sign up. It's an interesting service, I tried a couple of queries and got the kind of results I expected. Not related to the service itself, but I strongly dislike those random (seemingly personal but are actually not) automated

Unrelated comment, but I’m tired of the seemingly obligatory “join our discord” crap… when people used to hang on IRC it wasn’t being pushed as hard as this. What’s the point?

Thanks! I'll check out the RX 580. They're a bit more pricy now than usual even on the second hand market, I guess due to chip shortage and miners.

If Sway had the support it deserves and a larger developer base to actually work decently with Nvidia cards, there would be no competition really. Under Wayland, it’s definitely the best WM experience anyone can wish for. I understand the w

I’d recommend looking into Nim in Action [1] by Dominik Picheta. Really good book overall and helps get you up and running with Nim concepts. Dominik is core Nim team and author of Nimble. 1: https://www.manning.com/books&#x

It's actually faster than using BankId. And BankId is not a requirement, there's usually always an alternative.

If you’re on Emacs I’d recommend checking out org roam [1]. I’ve been using it for a while to do connected notes (Zettelkasten) and I’ve been very happy with it. I tried a couple of methods for note taking and this one seems to be the one t

There's no way they didn't expect some backlash on this. So I think it's partly for the marketing gimmick. I'm sure there are people at Github tho who really think they're making something valuable unfortunately. Sa

It's really kind of comical at this point. The more this copilot bs continues to be a thing, the more it's making Github seem irresponsible/careless at best.

It was never dead. If you like RSS, don't rely on Google. They'll probably kill it again [0] after this experiment runs its course, or wait until more people adopt it by default and then try to break yet another open standard. If
