Unrelated comment, but I’m tired of the seemingly obligatory “join our discord” crap… when people used to hang on IRC it wasn’t being pushed as hard as this. What’s the point?
- Hendrikto 5y agoPeople brag about the number of Discord members in their community, and use it as a kind of status symbol. I do not understand it either.
- njpatel 5y agoIt's harder to find Discord communities than IRC channels. You only had to join a few IRC servers to get huge lists of often-related channels.
