I'm not suggesting they had a choice - I believe they had to do it to survive. But there is now a void for the objective journalism of old. It's why I'm excited about the resurgence of the newsletter model - if journalists do

In my opinion, once-objective mainstream journalism is now about writing content to please target audiences and catch trending topics on social media, as well as keep fast cycles going to appease the algorithms on news aggregation sites and

It doesn’t make sense that they could tweet from people’s accounts and get away with it for hours from a moderation panel like that. I don’t buy it.

Many people were searching the wallet address looking for accounts being hit, so these people did this to show up in that search.

Wow, I remember that. Amazing. Think how many more people would see that sort of tweet today.

Data theft like that is normally silently dumped after the breach occurs and anyone knows what happened. This looks more like data injection somewhere. Perhaps an old API exploit. You used to be able to send an SMS to tweet, for example.

Something I don't see many people talking about is how Openreach, the UK's main physical layer broadband provider, uses Huawei kit in the majority of its street cabinets and has done since FTTC VDSL was rolled out a decade ago. 5G
