You don't need to. If you've ever filled out a form anywhere online to access an article, it's likely you opted in to having your data sold to broker agencies, who sell it for lead gen. The same goes for magazine subscripti

Right, and taking this further: artists pay for the materials and services to do what they enjoy. If people enjoy watching competitive sports and are willing to pay, should they be banned from doing so?

And you missed the point where I said that it was an oddly narrow goalpost. Also, how exactly was what I said "not accurate at all"? I accuarately said Apple was sharing iCloud data and encryption keys with the Chinese government

Intelligent design is a misnomer which has many forms, but at it's core it challenges naturalistic causation for abiogenesis on prebiotic Earth. It doesn't posit anything about other intelligence or life, just that the biological

I agree, but keep in mind abiogenesis is probably one of the tallest orders for chemistry. I'm glad scientists are at least exploring possible explanations, even if it means possibly disproving the mechanisms.

You specifically stipulated that the data optimization was bad - then why is data optimization of ads harmful? Doesn't serving relevant ads have more utility?

Gaslighting is a negative term. You don't want to gaslight your family member, you just want to help them, which this service enables you to do. Just because the copy doesn't mention it doesn't mean it's not there.
