I'd argue that social proof often makes for a good argument. Perhaps not the best argument, but still a good one. "Best practices" still carry weight. Of course you can make an argument that the thing everyone does is wrong,

How about The Pokemon Company's headquarters: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pok%C3%A9mon_Company#/medi... (fyi they don't take up the whole building). That actually is a playing card company.

Ok, I didn't say it should be mandatory. A lot of people also don't care about owning a house (at least right now). A lot of people care about forming good relationships, but don't have good ways to do so.

Easy: the couple wouldn't have to live on the campus. But I can ask you this: what happens to the significant others of people in the military?

I never said it should be mandatory, just something employers offer and maybe encourage. Companies have a history of putting people into "corporate housing", which is expensive. You may not like it, but others might.

I don't know if this would work, but Google, FB, Apple, et al should try to build out live/work communities. Yeah, kind of like a company town. The best part of college is the college campus. I don't know why companies don&#x

There really isn’t, and that’s what the OP is saying. But this is worth knowing about: `true` in Javascript is a primitive, so it doesn’t have any methods on it—it’s just a simple value. But you can do `true.toString()` in JS. How? The engi

> I am not an economist Yeah, if you’re interested in this stuff, you should do some research. The Fed’s options aren’t 0% rates vs 15% rates. It’s going to raise rates .25% at a time. .25% is not much of a difference. It’ll move slowly

Maybe we need a better definition of “never”. Are we going back 11 years, or 50 years, or 255 years? If wages truly never keep up with inflation in this country, then we’d be living like they did prior to the industrial revolution. You ca

This isn’t exactly great news, but it’s probably not as bad as you think. It means that inflation is a tractable problem. The Fed as a lot of tools at its disposal (first of which is to take its foot off the gas). If we were in a situation

No, that’ll neither work to solve the problem, nor would it work as a matter of practicality. We either need to get to 0 net emissions pretty much now, or negative emissions in the not too distant future. Even if we cut the world’s populati
