If you watch Game of Thrones on Sky Atlantic you have to put up with a long ad break after about every 10 minute of the show. It's unwatchable. And to add insult to injury you're paying a subscription. Television in Britain has 3

Zügig is just so..Germanic! It's exactly how I imagine the stereotype of German efficiency. In the anglo-saxon world we pride ourselves on how many hours we work. In Germany they work fewer hours and produce more and of better quality

Very funny! Yes, there is a professional pathway to follow to be allowed to meddle with someone's teeth. Once you've got that far, however, you're free to carry on much as you want. Dentistry has its own religious wars, the a

I like that analogy! It's a great feeling when you're dealing with a once in a blue moon task to discover that you've left some helpful notes for yourself in a place you'll find them.

In that advert it says the annual turnover is about £160K. For a 40 bed hotel!! A chip van turns over more than that.

GTD is great, I just wish I had the self discipline to follow it. David Allen refers to the weekly review as the critical success factor. And that's the one that I fall down on and then things slide and I get afraid to look in the &#x

Clearly the experience has belatedly led to their discovery of trip advisor. Blackpool is a classic example of a seaside resort that's been badly hit by cheap package holidays to the sun. As such you can expect it to be full of hotels

I don't know how you can say from anything I wrote that I am applying a stricter standard of conduct to gay men rather than heterosexual couples. I don't understand how the downvoting/banning system works but I think it might

Are you including all men convicted after being apprehended engaging in sexual activity in public toilets or in public parks (e.g. hampstead heath)? Should they all be included in your mass pardon? Is it fucking obvious?

What's wrong with dealing with things on a case by case basis? Every case on its merits. If a man is imprisoned for having sex with another gay man that's one thing. If it's for having sex with a rent boy that's another.

Casement's so-called 'Black diaries' were used during his prosecution for treason in an attempt to discredit him as much as possible. These were condemned at the time by irish nationalists as forgeries. I believe that they a
