Isn’t the overwhelming scientific consensus on the harm we’re doing enough to justify collective action? It seems to be the only thing of sufficient scale to address the harm you’re concerned about. I am struggling bc to understand your pri

I guess that’s the downside of paying people as little as you can get away with.

Probably not less difficult but definitely similar. I tried TIS-100 but it just feels like it exercises the part of my mind that does programming. It’s not relaxing or unwinding (for me).

Well, putting aside your refusal to spell out what you actually think, in the 20th century the major social groups agitating for rights have been women, black people and LGBT people. I would hope and expect that they all come above short an

I want you to set out the “unwritten hierarchy” as you see it, and if possible why you think it’s in that form. “How do you see” is admittedly not that clear. I just want to know what it is.

How do you see this hierarchy? I’ll be frank - it seems to be the groups of people who have been most marginalised for centuries or longer, and the amount of time we’ve spent talking about them is far less than they’ve been oppressed.

“Cause d’jour” (du jour) is rather dismissive. Why do you say this? Do you think that there are too many groups clamouring for their rights? Why do you think this might be the case?

The writer touched on this point when she mentioned him analysing the physical world and her analysing social structures. It seemed that he approached this as merely a technical problem he needed to fix rather than analysing the underlying

I'm not sure that demonstrating that Major used prorogation to avoid scrutiny of a scandal really changes much. So we're agreed that PMs prorogue Parliament for abnormally long periods when they want to avoid awkward questions? Wh

This prorogation is significantly longer than usual (see: https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/factcheck-parliament... ). It is usually for less than a week and this is for up to 34 days. The Government has fail

It's not clear to me how you can say that a new heuristic is "far inferior", nor how you can say that the academics lack a good framework but you presumably don't. How do you know what a good framework would look like? I
