How old are you? I’m in mid 30s and half of my friends do not own TVs. I’m in Europe. I’ve been using home cinema projector, I don’t see a point in having a TV as late millennial. I want to control what I’m watching and as dumb as the inter

I wish we had one of such centers where I live. Can I get tested like this anywhere in Europe? Seems like, once again, we’re lagging behind the US by a lot. Considering the cost of Alzheimer’s for governments such places should exist on eve

Im Polish. 20 years ago my parents were taking 1-2 months of PTO every year to work on German farms. 2 months * 2 people and you could’ve renovated a whole mid-sized flat or get a decent 3 years old car. Now I’m making 2-3x more after taxe

That’s 55 Celsius. Doesn’t sound too bothersome. What if they hide somewhere? Does 130F/55C just kill them at once?

Call me dumb but am I the only one that uses, 99% of the time: git pull git add . git commit git merge git push git status git log git checkout — filename And nothing else? Using the default merge flow is super simple, rebasing with force

Once I tried giving myself a belly shot. Never fainted but seconds after that I’ve completely lost hearing then tunnel vision started kicking in, and I was 100% certain I’m going to die. I guess it was the needle shock, eh? The hearing loss

Just opened a window and it was a video stream with audio from inside of the house (heard people talking, clearly). Some people just simply don’t care, I guess.

This is really odd, I’m Polish and I use Google in both English (80%) and Polish (20%). It’s been as good as ever. Never noticed anything being off or inaccurate. I don’t understand all the hate. On the other hand DGG, for example, is bare

Just woke up my wife with a loud sigh. I remember all my childhood friends pretending to be Zidane or Figo or Rivaldo. I always wanted to be Mitnick. Sucked at soccer but never stopped hacking. Holy f, he was so young. Out of all people I

Honest question: what should happen to all those people having multiple houses? How many is too much? What if it’s “their retirement plan”? Those people should die in the streets so others won’t? I mean I get your point but don’t see a sane

Argh as a Mac user I was thinking about getting a NUC for gaming as the Iris chipsets were getting more powerful. Can you guys recommend something NUC- sized that runs Windows and could handle, let’s say, GTA V?

Wait, wasn’t Google “query site:stackoverflow.com” search engine long before GPT? Technically you could’ve dropped it years ago for SO internal search + docs. I don’t feel GPT being superior to those still.
