Off-topic, but there's one funny thing about psychiatric clinics. Waiting rooms are completely silent. Everywhere else, patients (especially elderly) won't shut up about their pains and treatments.

There is a Philip K. Dick short story where practically everyone does. I don't remember its name. The topic of therapy commonly came up in his short stories and novels.

According to Yanis Varoufakis, politicians these days are not so smart anymore because the best, youngest and brightest realize the true power is in finance. He also said bankers have figured out a way to use money to buy laws and use laws

Last time I checked, "Caster of Magic" is a mod for Master of Magic. It's based on the fan-made patch 'insecticide', by kyrub. Insecticide is very conservative about gameplay changes. I don't know about CoM (I

While playtesting kyrub's 'insecticide' patch, we found an amusing bug. The Invulnerability spell is impossible to dispel! It's the last on the list of spells, and suffers from the off-by-one bug. This is why Guardian Sp

I think the problem is the ability to interoperate. Big walled garden owners have no obvious interest in letting other people link in and OUT of their network. But anything in the network is interoperable by default. I think to fight someth

Or you need to be clever and restrained with it. For instance, in a 1 vs 1 scenario - and I mean species, not players - it plays out more less like I outlined it above. But the equation changes if another player has 2+ potential prey specie

I think it goes against common Polish mentality. Consensus is rare. Compromise is often called a "rotten compromise", there's a concept of "having right" which implies only one person. Swedes have a phrase "Pol

"Evolution" has a bit of a problem with carnivores. It's easier to protect against carnivores than to build a cost-effective carnivore. You need to pay 2 cards to have species that can eat another species (one for Carnivore t

Agree. Law mechanisms can be abused. In Poland we had a case where a shoplifter (Stanisław Belski) was caught stealing coffee and sentenced. Security and the owner tossed a couple extra items into his bag to get him over a threshold so he q
