Have you thought about possibly hiring a junior engineer to make the transition possible? I don't know what your use case but creating a solution that fits your needs would be worth it IMO. You're already spending a years worth of

Have you heard of "right to roam" laws in the UK? They make sense to me and maybe the US could use them for all public lands.

That’s fine. As long as Google is broken up. I doubt your scenario will happen either, we all saw the hundreds of billions in investor value that occurred when AT&T was broken up. Breaking up Google will help everyone everywhere.

Yes there is no right to access an advertising market for Google, luckily the government agrees they are an illegal monopoly. Hopefully the ramifications are massive and company breaking.

lol in what world is breaking paid user contracts and flagrantly getting away with it democratic? What does free market even mean in this context? That the big trillion dollar corporation can bury you in legal fees or remove your means of m

No but it would stop a single company from accumulating so much power. How you can argue such things are democratic are beyond me. There is nothing democratic about trillion dollar corporations that can ruin your business for refusing to pl

This is a trillion dollar corporation. Would Google seriously have trouble raising the funds to build a chip fab? This seems like something they could do if they actually want to but I’d guess that would take actual leadership when they app

No you see only capital is allowed to bargain with the government, labor is not allowed to for "reasons" that somehow always seem to benefit capital at their expense.

Poppycock. Being able to collectively bargain against the government is more than legal, it should be encouraged. They don't have veto power over Congress, it's about allowing workers to dictate the terms they seem fair for themse

It's not hyperbolic. We're in a profession that elevates each other via open source. Saying something that is open source when it's not is no different than snake oil salesmen selling whiskey elixirs in the 1800s as cure alls
