What's interesting is that they stopped reporting monthly active users and prefer weekly active users. The author argues that this is a bad thing, but I'm having trouble understanding why?
- ohgr 2y agoIt’s likely bad because it may show volatility quicker and people will trade on it. That’s bad for the company and the existing users generally. Anyway active users doesn’t matter at all regardless of the period. It’s retention AND active users. The result of having the two figures gives you user base churn. That number is missing.
