I don't mean to be anti-science, I'm just reporting what I saw with my own eyes. And it wasn't just Daytona. I saw a fisherman in Indian River County standing on what had to be 2 foot of beach. Erosion happens, but why is

I did not. Then again, I have trouble believing that a public park would build a stairway that led into the ocean, even during high tide. That said, this is completely observational.

I feel like too many people report 'facts' without experience. I'm reporting experience without 'facts'. Maybe you're right, I just wanted to give a real life account from a low lying area.

I feel like people saying 'who cares' haven't been looking. And also like affected places aren't crying loud enough. I was driving through Daytona earlier this year, and stopped just to see their coast. It was gone.

I dunno, AOL was extremely successful and people loved it. I'm not ashamed to say I liked it, having everything in the same window. Google could only hope to achieve that fluidity. Messaging, Email, and web all in one workspace. AOL

Hey really like your site. If I could add any suggestions, it would be - 1) use of an address picker/dropdown, though honestly I haven't run into issues, it just seems cleaner. 2) link to the companies listed? I see some odd na

Yeah, I realized after I reread it some of those negatives are contrary to one another. eg insanely expensive housing vs commute time and whatnot. I include commute time into long hours. Many people I knew there, admittedly NOT at FAANG,

I went through the same thing for years. If I were young (early 20s?) and single, I'd probably consider it. But keep in mind that's the high end. Most people in the valley also don't come close to that number, so it's

Yeah, Brave is probably my favorite as a browser. That said, its sync story sucks, which ultimately forced me over to Vivaldi.

Brave and Vivaldi are both Chromium based, but perhaps worth a shot. There's only two other engines left: firefox and webkit. You may want to look into a webkit based browser?

I don't really see the comparison to those apps, though. None were nearly as big as musically/tiktok. I think it's unfair to even compare it to Vine, which is featureless in comparison.

I'm not so convinced. Let me first say, I can't stand TikTok and find its constant stream of annoying music angering. That out of the way, my wife and daughter love it, and I can see why. It made it easy for anyone and everyone

The idea of a gender switch between online and real life has been a meme since at least the early 90s. 18/F/Cali anyone? I don't understand the pill reference, other than that they behave diffently as medicines. The woman in

That's still 15 years. Why not say, 2 or 3? This reminds me of a 'Han shot second' type thing. There's a million examples of creators lying after the fact. And if that was the real message, should not the 'real wo

I don't think so. If I had a million dollars in free cash, I can just sit and buy 6 houses at 150k. And because I'm paying cash, those plebs with their home loan don't stand a chance in beating me. Better yet, I can buy fo

Many renters rent because they can't afford to buy. So landlords or flippers eliminating the bottom x percent of the market forces many into renting, at which point the landlords can determine the price. It's a self perpetuating

Why all the hoops? Companies have shamed us into thinking sharing salaries is bad. It's not. People should share freely, in my opinion it benefits all parties except the company.
