Again, this doesn't mean consumers will actually get cheaper batteries. Musk himself was promising $5k-$7k battery replacement, yet we saw a price increase. If we reached Musk's promised numbers then battery replacement would no l

I am well aware of the parts catalog. I was specific about being able to see pricing. For me this smells like a dark pattern. Tesla gets you in the car at a reasonable price point but why can't they show part prices online? Or even bet

What makes you think it will be cheaper to replace them? Tesla recently increased prices on batteries.

That is one of the issues for me. Plus, the only viable EV now for me is Tesla, but they keep making silly decisions and are just an odd automaker. By silly decisions I mean things like removal of turn signal stalk, removal of parking senso

I'm surprised by the inability of many HN'ers to understand what a "recall" means. How you fix it doesn't matter. OTA or dealer visit recall is a recall.

There are people PUTTING out fires nonstop in many apps we all use. I have been writing code for almost a decade now, and still make errors. I don't believe anyone is capable of producing bug free software. I have also seen plenty of b

The app says I have an unpaid ride and prevents me from booking rides. I have submitted screenshots of the issue to CS. I am getting a message telling me I have an unpaid ride. Edit:Read the post again and corrected an error :)

I'm of a strong opinion not to form big friendships at work. I now started making friends outside of work at 37. At work I'm looking out for myself.

The only Tesla scored on autonomous assist features by NCAP was a 2020 Model 3 and it scored pretty poorly. You can look it up below just select Tesla as Make: https://www.euroncap.com/en/ratings-rewards/assisted-d

Funny, how you are saying that somehow sleeping with your child is a need. It isn't.

I know about product placement and certainly don't care for it. It isn't intrusive to me as I can just ignore it while getting the information I want. Additionally, it is clearly not the same. I cannot ignore an individual talking

If google is serious about YT premium then they should ban sponsored videos. I don't want to pay for YT premium just to watch a channel tell me why I should give money to their sponsor. I have never watched a show on TV stop for 3 minu

From my reading it isn't really good or needed. Cuddling is great but child should learn to sleep on their own. A parent should not be meeting every want of a child.

Not being able to focus on 'boring' tasks is bad. When I had an addiction to social media, I could not enjoy 'slow' things. I also felt anxiety and depression. After detoxing I am again able to enjoy the 'slow'

I have a large blazor project and do not have fan cranking at all. Hot reload is VS issue. I have a completely difference experience but then again I'm creating business apps and do not anything 'new'.

Amazon is going to "work" with dealers until they figure out the game. I'm 100% sure this will backfire. Amazon likes money and dealers are leeches.

I really think there is a market for niche software solutions, where a small shop can evolve with the business and keep growing with customers. Some products seem enticing at first, when let's say a user is only $20 a month, but it qui
