The difference here though is that web 3 really is just 'technical details' to most people. PC's had potential, they were getting cheaper, faster, and more software was being written for them every day. People could play vide

This is the problem here. What kind of lay people care about this at all? I'm having a hard time being convinced myself, and I could not imagine trying to get 90% of the population remotely excited about this. There's nothing new

What's interesting is PBS is much less aligned with the federal government than most private media outlets, to put it nicely. Not sure how that's happened.

Ah thanks for the reply, and yeah that makes sense. I don't believe it was a mistake as of now, but let me tell my story a bit better: I got funded by Tyler Cowen / Peter Thiel @ EV and some angels for my first real company (can&#

What a great reply, needs to be higher up. Out of curiosity, how would you view a younger candidate (myself) who dropped out of a similar T40 school junior year with a boatload of personal projects / companies under his belt? I've

Very interesting that you can prove the halting problem and Godel's Incompleteness Theorem independently with this thought experiment.

Yeah good luck with that. There's a reason so few giant tech companies come from Europe, and it isn't cash.

I've always wondered, why do these software engineers take such risks building and setting up these illegal marketplaces? I mean, are you really going to make that much more than you would as a regular software engineer at a company?

It's interesting how you think you've solely 'escaped' the bubble, and yet I bet I can guess your beliefs on almost every major point after this comment, as well as your race, age, and income. Want some help? How can I e

I disagree. I'm looking at the most likely scenario here, the same reason I (and most people) believe Jeffery Epstein was murdered. -Crowdstrike said it's likely someone internally hacked the server -Seth Rich was in the position

Excellent comment. This level of deception is disgusting. I can't believe I have to scroll to the bottom of a HN political post to find out what's really going on.

Everyone in a bubble thinks that they're being exposed to new contrarian ideas. You absolutely are, but not contrarian ideas being seriously discussed outside your bubble. The valley is the obvious example, contrarian ideas are tossed

Thank for your very helpful contribution, but you're in the wrong thread. We aren't discussing the Clinton's or any sex trafficking ring, but I'm sure you knew that.

It's more likely he was murdered for doing something he shouldn't have been doing rather than anything else. The area where he lived had no shooting in the past 16 years or so, and this young guy gets clearly murdered for no reaso
