Well that's a shame. Termux is fantastically useful and a great addition to the android's ecosystem, at least for us techies. It would be sad to see it go.

Ah yes, linux on Dex was looking sweet! Right now I'm using termux, which is working really really well. I'm amazed! I have this big PHP app wich runs perfectly fine on it, with dependencies and all, I honestly expected trouble, b

Again, I never said that. Simply replying to your snarky remark and trying to remind you that I'm a human too and what you call angrily my "capital" is basically my savings I worked hard for myself. Can you please stop interp

All of those alternatives are a ton more expensive. At my scale, I can't afford them, except sponsorships, but that typically doesn't bring clients long term.

I disagree. My target market is fairly small and well defined. Probably a couple thousand people in a small region of my country. Also I am definitely not selling a mass produced item. In fact I'll spend at least 4 hours for each custo

I never said that. However my capital - acquired through hard work - affords me a way to at least show you my offer. Whether it retains your attention is up to you.

I really like Dex, at least the idea of it. I've been trying to work off my phone for a few years now, my first attempt was with the Galaxy S6, some version of container linux, and a raspberry pi with X11 forwarding as screen. It was b

I'm happy with the fact that I need to pay for advertisement. It has always been the case, and if it can boost my sales, that's still a win. However I'm not happy with the fact that if you don't pay ads (or want to confo

Sorry, but isn't that a good thing? Putting aside the fact that we're (at least in Europe) paying for a pension fund we'll never have, isn't reducing the amount of people on earth the right solution for basically all pro

I've been a big fan of GIMP for the past 20 years or so. Sure, it has its quirks, is a little slower than I'd like, but it's still a useful, reliable software. In fact, since they added support for 16 bit color, I can finally

I tried Wine for a variety of things in the past, but never quite could get it to work right. Also, some of those software are mission-critical for me, and I can't really afford to use something that may break unexpectedly when I need

We have to tolerate it because some software isn't available on Linux. For example, I can't think of one RAW image processor from the original manufacturer that's available on Linux. Honestly, if there was, it would actually

Dude, what? Parks are there so you can have a breather. There's no propaganda written on the trees, in the grass or in the sky. You know, happy healthy people are good for the economy. That's all.

I think working 5 days a week, 8h a day on the same topic is insane. I can't think of anything I would want to do for so many hours a day, almost every day. For me, switching to 4 days a week was a huge improvement in my quality of lif

I can find you probably enough "1/1000 or what photography is" to make up for at least 75%. Sports is the example I had on hand because it's one of the things I do most. But kids, pets, portraits, architecture, wildlife.
