I know so many people that absolutely love the MS ergo keyboard, even worked at one shop that one was given to you on your first day because everybody used them and they assumed you would want one too. For me, they actually caused rsi issue

I'd love to know what group or person at Microsoft decides what looks "good". I want to know why they decided to go the direction that they have, and why exactly they cant get everybody on board to go the same direction. My g

But it's scary out there! /s Seriously though, I wish I could be outside more often, but here in South Texas 9 months of the year it feels like death outside (heat, allergies, what-have-you) and the other 3 months it is typically

I wholeheartedly agree. Their problem is in multiple areas: product, design, and presentation. First and most noticeably they no long have a "master of ceremony" someone that is not only excited by the products but also enthusiast

I hope this is an indication that the Braun/Dieter Rams well spring has run dry. I wonder, where does the design language of Apple go if they move away from their current aesthetic.

The problem is Jony Ive ran out of Dieter Rams designs to borrow from.

I grew up in a small house in the 90's that was essentially open concept, the small galley kitchen was isolated to one side like a small hallway opposite from the bedroom hallway. But could still see the open space. Good things: 1. It

I love TOH, but the last few seasons they have started doing more "field trips" (lets go see how glass is made) and less home improvement. For me this makes it less enjoyable to watch.

Yet another anecdote: Several years ago, my wife had her birth control switched to the generic by our pharmacy. The day after she started taking it she became extremely nauseated, it passed later that day. The next day, the same thing. Afte

They are related in name and activity, but they don't have the same look and feel. If you called Pilotwings 64 a reboot of the original Pilotwings you wouldn't be wrong.

All of the Pilotwings games are great. But the later 2 (64 and resort) have a different look and feel than the original. For me the difference is 2d flight sim from the 16bit era vs the much more advanced 3d polygon driven flight sim of the

I was commenting about the SNES version of Pilotwings also not having a proper sequel. Been wanting one since '92 or so, don't remember when I beat it for the first time. Also, my copy of Pilotwings the Biplane crashes, always tho

I want to like spacemacs, I really do, but using spacemacs is like having a bipolar cat. One moment it is nice and warm and cuddly, the next moment it's randomly knifing you and trying to assert dominance by missing the box.

Real Mr Pibb was awesome, although wasn't available in my region growing up. When they moved over to Pibb Extra, that stuff was just nasty.

This is more like off/store brand soda than anything. While not Dr Pepper, it's like Mr Pibb or Dr Thunder, still tastes good, but it's not quite the same.

I've always wanted to learn org-mode and emacs. Can anybody recommend a good tutorial? Also, should I learn pure emacs or go the spacemacs route? My background is in vim.
