You are overlooking that the bulk of those negative comments are probably not true, and are just griefers. For example the experience of https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39834260 lower down in this thread.

Suggestion: Let me pick two tags, and cross them. Like I want Sad SciFi, or Energetic Detective Fiction. Etc. Enchanting is all Fantasy - but what if I want an enchanting coming of age story?

You are rewriting history. WHY did the creation of Israel have to be associated with bad relationships? After all the Jews purchased all the land they were going to live on, and the partition gave them empty land. And it's not like i

Not really - you have to wait for the subway, it also takes a finite time to travel, and it frequently stops. It can avoid traffic, but the actual MPH can be slower than a car when you include both those things.

Don't expect to be able to leave the eclipse area for hours after. Traffic will be in all directions. If you can just chill for several hours and then leave.

Even 99% is barely noticeable. Totality is a different category, it's not just "a bit darker". And a camera is not the same experience as looking around and being in a circle of darkness with a lit horizon in all directions.

I've so far only read Consider Phlebas, and while it's an interesting dystopia where humans have no purpose, and machines could do everything (if allowed), it's not an actual interesting story . It's like he had the ide

That's an ... interesting alternate history. But modern Zionism started in 1882, yet the Genocide of Safed was in 1834. Reading the article about it it's clear the local authorities did not prosecute Jews as a policy - but, the lo

If I report that "I did this, and then this happened". That's close enough to the truth to call it that. It's available in not just Mathematics: Chemistry, Physics for example. Then you have the type: "I saw this in
