Getting Real is still sold as a physical book through self publishing marketplace Lulu. Print on demand publishing is really easy and the value people place on having a hard copy makes it worth looking into as an extra sales channel. I co-a

Problems faced by the denizens of this site are more likely to be well-served by what already exists. Try asking people in industries that rarely interface with the tech world. That's where you find the big, underserved problems.

I recommend reading Christopher Buckley's Steaming to Bambula - though things have changed since then. ( http://www.amazon.com/Steaming-Bamboola-World-Tramp-Freighte... )

And for good writing in general, read Orwell's Politics and the English Language. 1. Never use a metaphor, simile, or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print. 2. Never us a long word where a short one will do. 3. If it

Good idea. Consider offering it to organisations that have mentoring programmes. My old university has an alumni mentoring scheme, but the web app that does the matching is so broken that not many people use it.

"Middle men exist to reduce the cost of getting a product from A to B" This isn't the whole story. Good middle men also add value in any number of ways (editorialising, structuring relationships, adding trust). Disintermediation isn't alw
