When you revisit old code, does it seem like a room in a house? Does it make you think of other code? (code nearby, or maybe code you write around the same time..?) Honestly just curious. It feels like rooms in houses to me. You are bra

I don't think that's what it says. If I'm reading it right, (null = null) is unknown, which is falsy (except with ansi_nulls off, then it'll be true). (null is null) is true. I don't think you can test null = (null

I agree. There used to be many bars/restaurants/clubs, and you wouldn't naturally bump into the clubs you disagree with. There even used to be a ton of phpBBs/vBulletins out there. Even different subreddits/image

Well how far do you go with the river? Aligning with select means group by sticks out. Aligning with group by means left join sticks out. Aligning with left join means inner join sticks out. EDIT: feel free to show me something better..

This is my favorite guide yet! My syntax, like others, is a little different (lowercase, 2 spaces, commas-first, bracket quotes, ons right under joins w/ joined table on LHS, left joins left-aligned): (this query isn't supposed to

People almost always start "stopwatch" counting at 1. If you time how long a juggling ball stays in the air, or how long it takes to run a short distance, a stopwatch will read 0.9 or something meanwhile most people start "

You may enjoy Common LISP's looping: it's a whole minilanguage where you can say stuff like (loop for i from 1 upto 10 ..) (loop for i from 1 below 11 ..) (loop for i from 10 downto 1 ..) (loop for i from 1

Yes, I would agree. His logic is that we should cater to the empty sequence case, and it would be "unnatural" to write 2 <= x <= 1, so we have to write 2 <= x < 2. That is just not an improvement. Ask somebody to w

This is pretty standard for IEEE-754 floats/doubles. Try entering 8.95 into Float Toy [0]. It's about 1 * 2^3 * 1.11875. If you look at the red part, you see there's a "repeating decimal" 00011(1100)(1100).. that

It goes through, doesn't it? I can't find hard numbers, but basically Wet Clothes Don't Stop Sunburn. The UV rays don't bounce at all, unless it's off the skin. It mostly all turns to heat eventually (AFAIK).
