The big data one is outstanding. If you don't have more data than can fit on a reasonably large hard drive, you do not have big data and you are likely able to process it faster and cheaper on one system. Today that threshold would be

I've never needed to have an editor churn out Go error handling, and I don't find it that hard. It could be better, but not much better. Exceptions are not less complex. They just move the complexity around. Exceptions as typicall

Look at Göbekli Tepe as well. The general trend seems to be pushing human history back, which makes sense as the human species has existed in its near modern form for quite a bit longer than the history we know. There is no reason to believ

Go is not a purist language. It's pretty relentlessly designed for maximum productivity with minimum complexity. This sort of feature is right in line with its mission.

Macs need virtualization to run guest OSes since Macs are big in the pro and developer market. There is no current use for VMs on a phone, so they probably just left that module out in past chips.

I've long speculated that FAANG companies over-hire, over-recruit, and over-pay as a way of sucking all the talent off the market to reduce the talent pool for rivals. They certainly have the cash to do this, and top engineering talent

Maybe we are just barely smart enough. There is a statistical argument to the effect that the species to do X will in all probability be the dumbest possible species capable of doing it. E.g. if we are ever visited by aliens they are likely

This might be a case where we do in fact have to override the idiots and force it upon people. Endangering yourself with your own gullibility and stupidity is fine, but endangering myself or my loved ones? Nope.
