That is absolutely correct. Figuring out when the watch is in an upright position is trivial. Figuring out whether the user intended to actually get it to turn on is extremely hard, and it involves looking at the history of motion that prec

Donating your overproduced (and likely subsidized) food to poorer countries also disincentivizes food production there, thereby perpetuating the food shortage problem.

Let’s not forget that oil is not just used as an energy source. It’s the basis of plastics, drugs, cosmetics and many more things, not all of which have substitutes.

A single study does not make science. It’s a data point but it needs peer review, replication, and consensus after multiple independent studies. Climate change has scientific consensus from decades of study across the world.

I think context makes that clear. For currency there's no reason to have 3 zeros after the decimal point. In some parts of the world, the comma gets replaced by the period.

Nitpick: It's not just the gyroscope. DeviceOrientation (at least on the iPhone) uses blends both the accelerometer and gyroscope (and if specified, the compass too)

That should be the first thing a visitor sees on the home page. Users don't owe you a click on 'learn more'. Explain the product, and maybe even allow them to use it without creating an account, and only ask them to sign up&#

That’s a misunderstanding of the spec. The ask is to put in at least one label if there is space (when previously there were none). Filling all available space with redundant labels is not the ask.

If you have to ask, then yes, it’s hugely unethical. If the date is an issue, leave it out of the resume. But fudging anything is deception, and expect it to come out during a background check that many companies routinely do.

If Georgio Paviani was real, it could also be a pseudonym for a real human being, in which case there would be no ID that you could show. Pretty sure Lady Gaga's driver license doesn't use that name.
