I'm sure Adobe's motivation is to make money selling licenses to software developers. If I remember it is about $700/seat for this software. In terms of their cost, it would make sense that Apple did some of the heavy lifting on this as par

This is like an obese person complaining that the number of options of different foods to eat is making them fat, so we should cut it down to just one type of food. I don't see how having only 3 TV channels is going to allow them to watch l

100% Yes you can and should use ad-hoc testers. I think the real problem isn't in finding bugs, but in changing direction/adding value which isn't always surfaced in QA. The hard part is that if we assume the "live fast/die young" model it

I think having the right PR chops is a huge benefit - visibility is so difficult. Building product anticipation is the key there I think. It is really hard to time things right with the app store approval process so I'm curious if they got

If you have a heightmap, the roads should be fairly easy. Pick start and end points (cities?) and use a pathfinding method like A* to plot the road. If you want something more stylized, you could select a handful of points from that method

I don't disagree with the accuracy of the quote, however I think there is something worth point out. The problem for the business person (manager) is that the logic complaints don't do them a lot of good and are easy to dismiss. The manager

I agree - as much as we all want to make it big, the desperation of trying to save your loved one is heartbreaking.

Sure, and you can also buy a box of store brand macaroni and cheese for $0.25 - or go to the gastropub and pay $10 for a serving. It really isn't an even comparison.

I think what is important here is that the degree gives the potential for a certain career field - but does not guarantee a job in that field (and does not mean you are stuck in that field if you later decide you hate it). One thing you m

If you feel like you have time to explore who you are and what you want to do, I'd suggest casting a wide net and taking some survey courses in potential areas of interest for you. If you like Psych and SQL you might enjoy Sociology - see i

Personally I feel that hard work and determination are probably two of the most important things needed to really be successful. With that said... Sometimes you have to scratch the itch in order to focus. It might cost you a day or two, but

So you can replace advertisements for art that takes you to a web site where you can buy their art? Hijacking ad space on the client side side-steps all the legal issues I've seen with this happening at the ISP level. What is interesting to
